Become a Member

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our church. We are grateful that you are considering joining our faith family and hope the information below helps you understand what meaningful membership looks like. Church membership is more than attending services—it is committing to live in community with one another through encouragement, support, service, and shared responsibility as we grow together in Christ.

When you become a member, you are joining a spiritual family that seeks to love God, love others, and faithfully live out the gospel together. Below are the steps to becoming a member. If you are interested or would like to begin the process, please contact alovorn@unioncommunitychurch.org.

MEET WITH ELDER

Share your testimony and understanding of the gospel (must be a believer).

Share where you currently are in your walk with Jesus and ways in which you want to be equipped and encouraged to grow.

Share your gifting and areas where you have found joy and skill in serving.

PRAY

Prayerfully consider the Lord’s leading to serve at Union.

COMMIT

Commit to and agree upon the church covenant through reading and signature.

BE PRESENTED

Be presented, affirmed, and prayed over before the congregation.
