UCC Kids Ministry

My name is Alexa Young

Welcome to UCC Kids Ministry! Our ministry is dedicated to helping children grow in faith and in their knowledge of the Lord. We want each child to develop a close relationship with their Savior.  Through engaging activities, interactive lessons, and discipleship, we aim to accomplish the mission of our ministry’s theme verse, 2 Peter 3:18: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen." Come join us as we partner together in training your child in righteousness (Proverbs 22:6) and labor to raise up a generation of children that have a strong loving relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Meet Debbie Cleveland

Debbie serves as our Children’s Minister and has a sweet heart for the Lord and a genuine love for children. She loves every opportunity to invest in the lives of the next generation, helping them know Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him. Debbie and her husband, Rick, have served together in ministry for many years, and their love for the Lord and others is evident in the way they serve.

Debbie is a caring, thoughtful, and generous person who loves making others feel loved and cared for. She is also a proud mom and grandmother. When she’s not serving at church, you’ll likely find her baking something delicious or enjoying time with her family. We are so thankful for the love, joy, and encouragement she brings to our children and our church family!
